GUDI SELECT Single malt whisky

GUDISELECT Single Malt Whisky is the brand’s mid‑to‑high‑end Scottish whisky. Produced in full compliance with the official regulatory standards for Scottish whisky, it is jointly cask‑selected by the founder together with Douglas‑Laing, a distinguished family‑owned independent bottler. Drawing on Douglas‑Laing’s profound experience and professional expertise in cask selection, and adopting a custom‑tailored cask‑selection formula developed by both parties, this whisky uses high‑quality barley malt sourced from a single distillery in Scotland’s core producing region. Crafted through traditional copper pot distillation, the spirit first undergoes foundational maturation in oak casks to build a rich, mellow base and a smooth, gentle palate. It is then transferred into sherry casks for one‑year finishing maturation. This process imparts dried‑fruit, fruity and woody sweet notes, bringing multi‑layered and elegant complexity to the spirit.

On the palate, it is dense and silky with no harsh alcohol burn. Rich malt aromas and sweet sherry‑cask notes unfold layer by layer, leading to a long, satisfying finish, fully embodying the tasting quality of premium‑grade whisky.

Breaking free from rigid age‑statement constraints, we focus on the balance between cask character and flavour, prioritising the sophisticated integrated taste achieved through careful blending. It is perfectly suited for neat tasting by seasoned whisky enthusiasts, business banquets and high‑end gifting occasions.
